Welcome to the Wildlife Park Permits Reservation eService offered by the Department of Wildlife Conservation.
Reserve Park Permits Online
Department of Wildlife has declared several National Parks in Sri Lanka on the wildlife sanctuaries and parks under their management. National parks are allowed for public to see & study wildlife

This eservice facilitates the public to reserve permits prior to the visit of National Park.

There are specific numbers of allowed permits been declared for each national park and reservations will be closed once the reservation count reached the maximum allowed. Charges for the reservations will be varying based on the National park and the Group/ Vehicle details. A QR code will be generated and be printed on the receipt/ permit which will be used to validate the permit at the park entrance

Payments can be made using the electronic card facility.

Check Permit Status
This is the facility where a person who has reserved a permit online can check the status of his/ her booking by providing the transaction number. This gives the user the facility to re-print and download the Permit with reservation details and the QR code.The user can get the confirmation SMS by sending the following text to 1919.

Welcome to the Online Reservation of National Park Permits of Department of Wildlife Conservation Sri Lanka (DWC).
This service facilitates the reservation of Wildlife National Parks and provides the facility to check the status of the reservation your previous reservations. Please read below instructions before proceeding to the service.
Online Reservation Procedure
You have to go through the following steps to complete a reservation.
  1. Check Availability
    • Allows you to check the availability of a preferred Park.
    • There are specific numbers of allowed permits been declared for each national park and reservations will be closed once the reservation count reached the maximum allowed.
    • You can check this by selecting the date of visit and the preferred park, and then the system will display the Remaining No of Permits for that specific park.
  2. Make Reservation
    • If you have made reservations for wildlife national parks previously then you can retrieve your personal information by entering the NIC number and clicking on the ‘Lookup’ button.
    • Changes to the already available information can be made if necessary
    • Mobile number and the email address provided will be used for notifications regarding the reservations
    • Please enter full group detail before the reservation. Group detail should include drivers, guides, translators, etc.
    • Also you have to enter all the vehicle details and failure to provide accurate detail may result in additional payments at the park gate.
  3. Payment
    • You have to complete the payment to confirm the reservation or the reservation will be cancelled
    • You can make the online payment with Visa/Master cards or eZcash
    • A convenience fee will be charged for online payment
  4. Complete Reservation
    • If your payment and the reservation are successful, system will displays a success message with the details of your reservation on screen
    • Please save the reservation reference number provide in the permit, email and SMS for future reference
    • An email and a SMS will be sent to you confirming the reservation
    • Please make sure you take printouts of the permit and the receipt. It’s mandatory that you take a printout of the permit to enter the park.
Check Status of Reservations
  • You can use this service to check the status of your reservations and to print copies of the permit and receipt.
  • Use the 'Reservation Reference Number' and the ‘NIC/Passport/Driving License Number’ used for the reservation to retrieve information.
